Flower Rota.

We are in need of a few more people to come on to the rota. There is no need to be an “arranger”, just a bunch in a vase would be fine. If you would like to know more or volunteer please speak to Ann.

Food Bank.

We know that many of you put your contributions into the store facility when you do your shopping. Contributions to the church collection on the third Sunday have fallen off recently and we would like to know if there is still a need for this. Please let the churchwardens know your thoughts.

In the Benefice

After many years service Tony Rogerson has decided to retire at the end of this year. We are very grateful for all that he has brought to our church life here in Sunningwell and wish him well in the future which will include watching England play cricket in St Lucia. He will still be available for the occasional service if necessary.

Morning and Evening Prayer are said daily in church at 9am and 4pm Mon – Thur.

Prayers for the new housing are now on the first Saturday of the month 9.30-10

Oberammergau  Passion Play 2020

Every ten years the people of the Bavarian village of Oberammergau fulfil their oath to God and perform a Passion Play. It dates back to 1633 when the village was spared  from the plague and as a token of thanksgiving the oath was made. Seeing the play and experiencing the village is an unforgettable experience. Pam will be leading a group to the Tyrol and the Passion Play from 30th June – 7th July and has extended an invitation to the Benefice for us to join them. For more information or a booking form don’t hesitate to get in touch with her – soon! Pam McKellen 0776 254833
